I don't know much about this kid, but if Painter is offering him before his soph year, he must be a player. Painter is one step ahead of Crean again.

Purdue appears in good position with Fort Wayne guard
The NCAA is so mad at Kentucky, it's going to put Cleveland State on probation for another two years.

Painter definitely took advantage of the Sampson era. He has emerged as a good coach that is player friendly, trustworthy, and a by the book recruiter. IU will have a hard time catching back up, especially as they continue to struggle and Purdue and Butler stay in the national spotlight. IU sure did botch up the the Bob Knight situation.

I'm not really too upset IU missed out/overlooked some of Purdue's recruits in this class. I'm not very impressed at all by a couple of them. IMO, Butler might have the best class in the state coming in. At least, they'll probably get the most use out of them, especially right away.

I root for several teams, but I'm more of an IU fan than a Purdue fan, and I have to respectfully disagree. Terone Johnson alone makes Purdue's class better. I think he is going to step right in and produce.

Terone is a winner and a competitor. Coach Painter said he is fitting in very well.

I don't think IU missed out/overlooked some of Purdue's recruits, they never had a chance at them. Like I have posted earlier, IU is lucky they where not charged with a lot of other violation that they broke.
