Impressive pick up for Indiana State. Gant received an ESPN scouting grade of 90, and based on Rivals, had scholarship offers from Iowa, Xavier as well as interest from most Big Ten programs.

Guess that shows how well the "scouts" can grade recruits. Those are all mid-major schools. But, still, a great pickup for the Sycamores.

Not sure I understand your point Stax. Gant does not appear in the Rivals Top 150 and his grade of 90 on ESPN places him somewhere between 180th and 200th in the country. That seems pretty mid major to me Also according to ESPN a grade of 90 makes Justin Gant a "High Major Minus" i.e. a boarderline HM player. Wisconsin, Michigan, Clemson and a few others were still around and may have offered late if they missed on some other guys but in this case it would appear to me the scouts were pretty darn close.

It was aimed more at Howe, as he stated the Iowa and X offers, which apparently weren't true.

Rivals has removed the publication of a scholarship offer from Xavier although Iowa is still listed.
Indiana and Xavier are listed as "High Interest".

I have no idea if Justin Gant received scholarship offers from Iowa or Xavier. I simply listed information posted on the Rivals.com website.

It has been pointed out to you several times over the yrs Howe that the internet is not a place for 100% accuracy. Remember I never worked Xavier camp bc it says on their site that Xavier coaches work the camp! Not too mention nowadays we have several kids listing offers who simply do not have one.

Rivals.com listed Justin Gant as receiving scholarship offers from Xavier and Iowa. Iowa is still currently listed.

I'm not claiming Rivals to be the most reliable source of information although anyone who bum rushes threads while claiming nine sources of non-existent national rankings, declares Manual had approved and signed off on the transfer of Chrishawn Hopkins to Herron, and professed Aaron Sembly was the middle school Atheltic Director/ Basketball coach at Marshall, certainly isn't considered very credible.

He was not offered by Indiana or Xavier. His rivals account is not right.

I'm still waiting for Jordan Manual to commit to Xavier any day now.

Where will Manuel end up next year now that he's not going to Detroit?
