Pre-Game Playlist

18 posts in this topic

We did a thread like this on the GID last football season, but it applies here too. Give me your best 12 song playlist for the bus rides, shoot arounds, and pre-games in the locker room.

Since my football CD never made it to the field during football season, it'll be used during basketball. I need to find the edited versions of a couple, but I'm feeling this one:

(no order specifically as of yet)

When We Ride On Our Enemies - Tupac

We Ready - Archie

Remember the Name - Fort Minor

Welcome to the Jungle - Guns N Roses

Numb/Encore - Jay-Z/Linkin Park

Warrior - Lloyd Banks

Heart of a Champion - Nelly

Here Comes the BOOM - Nelly

Push It - Rick Ross

Can't Be Touched - Roy Jones Jr.

Bring Em Out - T.I.

What You Know - T.I.

Im'ma Shine - Youngbloodz

Some good instrumentals:

In the Air Tonight - Phil Collins

Sirius - Alan Parsons Project

The Final Countdown - Europe

USC Fight Song (East's fight song)

Hoosiers Theme

Tryouts - "Rudy" soundtrack

Personally, I like instrumentals, but most others don't for some reason.

Good call on in the air tonight. I would suggest a country boy can survive but that didn't work out real well for Matt Hughes

What did they listen to before cassettes in locker rooms?

8 Tracks? Radio? Dripping faucets?

Well in our old gym(Junior High now) there were a lot of dripping faucets. <_<

We did listen to 8-tracks, and the radio, and albums,(LP's).

For those that remember 8-tracks. Was it a law that the best song had to be interrupted by the program change, or was it just the tapes that I owned?:blink:;)
