My pick is Park Tudor.

Indianapolis Arsenal Tech (9-1) is the #14 ranked high school basketball team in the country, and have the #7 player in the entire class of 2014 in Kentucky recruit and Indiana Mr. Basketball candidate, 6'10 senior Trey Lyles.  6'8 Ball-State recruit Rashaun Richardson will play opposite Lyles in the post to form one of the best interiors in the state.  6'3 senior guard Jeremie Tyler (14.3 ppg) is headed to Ball-State alongside of Richardson, and mans the perimeter with 6'5 senior Mikey Jones (9.0 ppg), and 6'4 senior Justin Parker.  Unlike most teams, Indianapolis Arsenal Tech will have several different defenders to throw at Bluiett, and they are also fresh off a huge New Years day victory over nationally ranked (#18) prep school LaPorte LaLumiere.

For Park Tudor (5-0), they too have a Mr. Basketball candidate in 6'6 senior (and Xavier recruit) G/F Trevon Bluiett, who leads the state with a staggering 42.3 points per game to go along with 14.5 rebounds, which also tops the state.  5'11 senior guard Austin Shelton (11.3 ppg) and 6'2 junior guard Bryce Moore (11.8 ppg) share the bulk of the scoring load with Bluiett.  6'3 junior Dwayne Gibson will also contribute, with supporting averages of 8.8 points and 6.0 rebounds per game, and 6'8 junior Evan Frank will body up in the post for Park Tudor.  It is certain Bluiett and Lyles will lock up several times throughout the event.

Who do you pick? These teams will square off on Saturday, Jan. 4th.

Park Tudor will be playing Indiana Crossroads Conference foe Lapel tonight (Thurs. Jan 2nd) at Bankers Life Fieldhouse, 8:00pm

As expected , Trey Lyles & Trevon Bluiett put on a show for their respective teams . Lyles ended up with 45 points & 17 rebounds in the 95-88 OT win and Bluiett torched the nets for 51 points & 13 rebounds . On the season , Trevon Bluiett is average 44.2 ppg along with 13.2 rpg . Bluiett is shooting 65.3% from the field on 98 of 150 shooting .

That is an amazing display of talent from 2 of the top 3 Mr. Basketball candidates. I would have liked to have seen that game for sure.
